Progress update

As you know by now we don't like bringing you news unless it's good news, but we're well over due an update now, so in the interest of keeping you all informed here's what's happening.

First of all just to clear up any confusion about connections. We have begun installations of customer equipment and several people have had their equipment installed. Nobody is connected to the internet yet though. We wish it was as simple as just turning everything on and having it work, but in reality there's a lot more involved than that. Our team is working around the clock to try and get things up and running as soon as we can though.

Secondly we've encountered a few problems which have put us further behind schedule. Our e
quipment isn't performing to the standard we had hoped. The last thing we want to do is to provide people with a flaky connection that drops out or is nowhere near the speeds advertised, you lot have suffered with that kind of thing long enough. We're in the process of upgrading the equipment on the mast so that it we can deliver the kind of internet we've promised. Unfortunately this does mean there's going to be a bit more of a delay.

The new equipment should arrive today or tomorrow so we hope to have it up at the top of the mast ready for testing by the end of the week. We truly appreciate your patience and words of encouragement to date, and without your backing we wouldn't have made it this far. We're in uncharted waters here but I've got full confidence in all of the team and we will get there, it's just going to require a bit more hard work from us and a bit more patience from you guys.
